Keep going no matter what.

Well we did it we worked on a project trying to create a money making company that would be internet based... we started in 2/2007 this year... and we just put it to bed in 11/2007 ... so basically we worked on it for about 10 months.... a lot of meetings , a lot of research ... we all learned a lot... but the costs were going to be way up there... and we all did not want to make that kind of investment on something that actually some of the big boys out in the world of websites are doing and or going to launch soon.. We could not compete....

we are still going to gather as friends and help each other in our own personal focuses and business.... who knows we might end up brainstorming again and coming up with unique idea that no one has done...

Women are always getting together and brainstorming... and power to the gals that take the course to research, learn and make it happen... even if some ideas do not work... You keep forging your way.... You can do it....

There is a lot of opportunity out there and we need to stay true to ourselves but never give up.... Keep being creative, love your family and friends.... and keep your eyes open ... listen... listen around you ... you do not want to miss anything...

Research ... and take a chance... be cautious ... but step out and try something.... you never know where it will lead...

I personally will work on my business ventures.... and see where that takes me...

Never give up... Seek your dreams.... you are the one that can make it happen....

Keep going now matter what.... we have one life to live ....live it to the fullest.... Let's Go Gals....

Crossroads

We all go through crossroads in our life in all areas.... We are now in a crossroad in our business venture.... should we continue with the project we started with over a year ago.. or go in a different directions.... all 5 of us have different ideas... and to create the exact website we have been gearing towards will be 100k or more... wow... and through all the homework we have been doing we have found that there are other websites that are doing what we were thinking... or at least similar... who knows but we need to make a decision - we need to keep our friendships intake... that is the most important but make a decision on what direction we are going to take. Do we really have that kind of money... or should we create a business plan first and take the chance that we can make this happen by securing investors.... everything is a gamble anyways... no guarentees in life... (but do we take the what if)... and go for it or be conservative and say STOP let's do something else that is a for sure thing... we all want a business that will make money and have fun at the same time.... (What to do What to do)... But again friendships are more important... so this is the crossroad we have right now... Thinking about what direction to go... our next meeting will be vital... on determining this factor... SUSPENSE IS IN THE AIR.

Time Goes So Fast it is Frightening

It is halloween.... our 21st Halloween here in our neighborhood.... I remember when our kids would dress up and we would take them to the club house for a party then visit all the houses... at least the ones we knew.... Now... I turned off all our lights and made sure the gate was locked so I could not be bothered with handing out candy.. why... because working full time gives me very little time to get other things accomplished... like running a business.. that is mine... I am getting really tired or I am tired of working for a boss just to make him alot of money... It is my turn... and I have to work on it after hours...and I make it happen and I am going to work really hard to stay of top of this project... and I am planning on next year relaxing and handing out candy... (how pathetic am I) But there are seasons for everything... and everyday our life takes a slight change or major change... we just need to hang on , stay on task and run the race....November 1st is just a few hours away...... and now then there will be only EIGHT weeks left in the year... and so much more needs to be done.... HELP... maybe I should skip sleep - except that is my most favorite time of the day... NO I will just tackle one thing at a time.... I am pretty sure most the gals on this Journey feel the same way... Well get ready to see what we create in 8 weeks it might be scary - LOL

Homework at this age.....

YES = we still have homework in life... no matter what age you are at.... I realized today that I need to get my homework done to stay on top of this project.... all ( all 5 of us ) have to research different websites.... and see what we like and do not like... what we want to see and not see on our website...

I am thinking that this baby that we are creating or (rather we are going to give birth to) is going to look and feel totally different then what each of us is imagining.... just like when you have a baby... you imagine what that child will look like .. at each age.... and then before you know it that child is gone... the child has left the house.... So I need to enjoy each step we take in going through this process. See this project (this child) come to life ... it might take a long time... (like how long a elephant is pregnant... maybe longer... but with the strength and support of the other gals... we will see it through and then enjoy the child taking form..... and growing to become what it is meant to be....One day at a time.... that is how I will prevail...Stay on Task and Focus

Brainstorming Meetings

The journey takes us on many brainstorming meetings.... one after another.... there are so many ideas and so many areas we could go in..... Each gal has so much value , such great input and unbelievable determination..... it is fun to see and hear everyone take on what we are trying to create..... We meet with other designers..... and business people..... that give us ideas... and throw new ideas at us... and introduce us to ecommerce, trafficking, blasting, webnair and the list goes on.... You have to stay on top of all the internet lingo so you know what is going on.... We are learning so much....there are so many paths we can go down.... some times I feel very overwhelmed and think maybe selling the house and living in hut in some exotic island might be a lot less pressure and more relaxing.....but on the other hand this is fun working with such incredible woman and watching this project - this business venture come to life I do not want to miss out.... the 5gals has to have 5.... we are going to see this through...... I am going to see this through.... just to think the bread slicer took 20 years to actually be taken serious .... where would we be with out the bread slicer.... So come on stay with what you are doing out there... do not give up... WE ARE NOT GIVING UP.... WE ARE GOING TO FIGHT THE BATTLE AND BUILD OUR BUSINESS....so come on 5gals let us all stay focused...... going to bed now... very late....need to rest for the next meeting....:)

Our journey began quite some time ago. I became one of the gals after a long term friendship with Lori. Slowly, very slowly, I came to enjoy a low level acceptance by the rest of the gals. I was different - my life looked different - because it was. I was divorced and in business. Lori and I might not have looked like two more unlikely friends.

For about 15 years now 5 gals in newportshores , newport beach have been gathering together to support and encourage one another through every imaginable season in life... good times and bad times.. sad times and happy times...we have kept all stories to ourselves... but now we are ready to venture out and tell our side... tell what has happened and how and what we have done to survive...

But not only are we a support group we are now in the process of creating a company - that will have a website that will be a portal for all women to empower themselves through resources, information and support of other women.

Igals Journey has given birth to a new dynamic way. We are in the process of having very powerful board meetings that not only get business done but we are having fun and pulling together all our ideas to be unique and make a difference on our website.

Follow us as we take this journey to become all that we can be and give back to the world and not be selfish and keep it all for ourselves...
